This palette was a Limited edition Holiday offering from Hourglass, but as it is still available, I thought I would share swatches. Also, every color in this is permanent. The palette was not well appreciated in the beauty community because the product quantity was very less and the price was hefty. I too felt the same and did not buy it initially. Later during a mini vacation in Florida I picked this palette and I must admit this palette is the best TRAVEL palette I have purchased. All the colors in this are very flattering and the palette is very compact with a decent size mirror.

True to the nature of Ambient Powders, these are no different. Finely milled, pigmented and beautiful, the quality of the product in travel palette is exactly same as the ones in full size compact.

As the pan size is tiny, I use a small, soft brush to pick and apply the product. I love the Charlotte Tilbury Powder and Sculpt Brush, Sephora Pro-Air Brush #55, MAC 165 highlighting brush for blush, bronzer and highlight application. I have a small face, so these brushes work very well for me. For setting my under eye concealer, I use a real technique Setting Brush. I do admit, it gets difficult using a big fluffy brush for apply the all over powder, but for the ease of travel and the options I get for blush and under eye setting powder I am ready to live with the flaws.

Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder in Iridescent Strobe Light: These have been released in full size now. The Strobe Lighting powder in this palette is different. The one in the palette has less shimmers and looks more polished on the skin.

Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light: I love this all over my face as a finishing powder. It just gives that soft glow and luminosity on skin. I have this in the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. The size of that palette is perfect and I wish this Edit palette had pans of that size.

Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light: I use this to set my under eye concealer. It has the right amount of yellow in it and the powder is so finely milled and soft. It does not settles in the fine lines and provides the needed brightness. The Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder has been my all time favorite setting powder, but that can get messy to travel with.

Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure: This blush is a neutral soft plum blush. Like all Ambient lighting Blushes, this too is finely milled, pigmented and blends beautifully. It works with every look and suits variety of skin tone.

Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush: This is my very favorite blush. It absolutely melts in the skin giving a healthy glow. I have it in full size. (review here)

Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light: I am not a bronzer crazy person, but this product made me start loving bronzers. It did not makes my skin look dirty or muddy. It really made me look like Golden Goddess! Well, not exactly Goddess, but it made me look good. I have this in full size as well. (review here)

I like the palette. I regret not buying it during the Sephora Friends and Family Sale. That would had saved me some money. In any case, it is an excellent pick.
