My husband has been using products from Murad Skincare for his oily, acne prone skin since ages! I was so used to seeing Murad in his section of the shower that I started believing it to be a brand that caters only to oily and acne prone skin, like the Proactive stuff. So, I was surprised when I used the deluxe sample of MURAD Hydro-Dynamic® Ultimate Moisture. It was an OMG moment! This stuff is wonderful.
Hydro-Dynamic® Ultimate Moisture is a rich cream that is hydrating and moisturizing without being greasy or heavy. With an impressive ingredient list of avocado, sunflower, and olive fruit oils that help the skin to retain maximum levels of hydration, Retinyl palmitate and shea butter that improve texture and tone and Collagen support complex that provides plumpness to dry skin. This is one amazing gem that makes the skin super soft and smooth.
I got a tiny sample of this from Ulta in one of their GWP bags. I just stayed it in one of my sample boxes till I carried it on a beach vacation because of its tiny in size. I was blown away with the way it performed. The cream was unlike any other I had tried. Most of the heel creams only moisturize and make the feet soft, but this Exuviance cream actually help treat the deep cracks and fixed my dry heels making them smooth and crack free. It is not sticky or too greasy like some heeling foot creams. Love the way it performs. One of my absolute favorites.
This is one of my very first essence type product from Korean skincare. I had picked a small deluxe size from Sephora. My knowledge about Korean skincare was pretty limited at that time. Not that I know a lot now, but at least I know how to use the products better and what to expect from them. The Raw Sauce is a gentle toner, emulsion and essence in one that intensively hydrates and nourishes the skin. It is made with 93% maple tree sap, skin-nourishing fructan powder, Asian herbal and fruit extracts. It makes the skin appear more hydrated and plump. The light weight product is easy to layer smells wonderful and makes the skin dewy. The results are amazing! Perfect for all skin types. I have picked a full size and even though I have more than 10 toners and essence in circulation, I find myself using this at least once a day. It still remains my favorite!!

L'OCCITANE Cleansing And Softening Shower Oil
For the longest time, I remember having multiple bottles of minis and deluxe sizes of L'OCCITANE shower oil. I am a huge sucker for Holiday Gift sets and end up buying multiples of Bath and Body product sets if it has my favorites. This shower oil cleanser contains almond oil, that transforms into a milky foam upon contact with water. It leaves the skin silky smooth and moisturized. The smell is beautiful. It is very addicting. I use this shower oil only in fall/Winter. It leaves the body soft, supple and smelling beautiful. Very Spa like delightful experience.

BUMBLE AND BUMBLE Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil
This is just another silicone based hair product that Softens the hair, tames flyaways, adds shine,
de-tangles, helps to strength the hair and prevent breakage. It protects against heat and UV damage etc. All the same glorious promises like every other product in the same vein. But there is only one major and very important difference. This does not weigh my hair down. It is a thick, viscous product but for some reason one of the only few products that make my crazy thin, wispy, barely there hair look presentable and decent. It helps with my frizzy hair without making them sticky and greasy. I have re-purchased this product twice and my third bottle is in mail as I type this. A little goes a long way. This is my holy grail hair product but I still buy it in small size as small sizes are easy to travel with. Hair care products are subjective. Just like skincare, there is no sure shot formula. I for the life of me could never understand why this one works better than anything else that I have tried and I have tried a lot!!
So here we have the five products I fell in love with and will always re-purchase.
