This is part 2 of Holiday Gift Guide. I know many many and many people who are still shopping (including me) and I have tried to narrow this selection down to things that are still available at stores that are pretty much in every other mall if not every mall.
Tech and music accessories are hot items. A headphone is something that everyone uses and from high end Bose to basic funky headphone, the choices are endless. This fancy rose gold Frends with Benefits 'Layla' Headphones look very chic. Portable battery is another practical and useful accessory that makes good gift. Available easily at Best Buy or Target. Want to gift a fancier one, this Kate Spade New York slim portable charger is a good one.
A wristlet, card holder or a coin pouch that is multi tasking like securing phone, carrying cash etc is a good gift too. This MICHAEL Michael Kors Card Holder iPhone 6 & 6s Case, kate spade new york 'cedar street' iPhone 6 leather wristlet are some good options and they come in eye catching colors.
Stationary, desk decors and journals are full proof gift products. Fancier the better. Barnes and Noble carries many of these Jonathan Adler Journals, Kate Spade Polka dot Pencil pouch set and fun as well functional sticky notes, note pads etc from Knock Knock. I love these Knock Knock stuff.
Purse charms appeal a lot to more younger crowds. I personally am not a fan of fuzzy thing hanging from my bag, but a friend's daughter was all over this MICHAEL Michael Kors 'XL' Genuine Fox Fur Bag Charm. This MINIMERGENCY® - Emoji' Kit by Pinch Provisions is a good stocking stuffer and is a great way to carry some useful stuff in bag for emergencies. Pretty neat.
Makeup Bags and Pouches are my personal favorite. There are tons to choose from, but this one from Charlotte Tilbury is very lovely.
Bath and Spa products make great hostess gifts. Luxurious product like this set from Bath and Body works come beautifully packed in a box. The stress relief set from same store is pure bliss. These Shea Socks are the best things ever made for feet. Available at Bath and Body Works, these socks are very affordable and comfortable.
Hand Creams and lip balms make very affordable stocking stuffers and an extra one or two never hurts. So repeats are always welcome. Some hand creams that I love and have tried are these L'Occitane 'Beautiful Hands' Set and Crabtree & Evelyn 'Hand Therapy' Tin. These are high quality, non greasy super hydrating hand creams. They smell wonderful too. The packaging is cute and ready to gift. These Peter Max for Kiehl's 'Lip Balm Giftables' Set and Jack Black 'The Balm Squad' Collection are two absolutely wonderful lip balm sets. Both the balms are excellent in quality. These kits can be split and re-packed to make a cute lip balm and hand cream kit. All you need is a little packing creativity.
Food is another category that makes good gift. This hot chocolate 'Holiday Sipping kit' gift set from ticket chocolate is a lovely presentation. Love the mug too.
Lastly there is this little grouping of very obvious but always the best and most loved category of gifts. This particular list has selection of everything that I would want to own.
Purse. A good well made purse is always an addition. There are tons of designs, shapes and sizes to choose from. Collections are always built slowly. So personally, I would welcome any design. This Michael Kors 'Jet Set - Large Phone' Saffiano Leather Crossbody Bag is a wonderful one and it is good size too.
Watch. I see time on my phone, but I never leave the house without a watch. It is more like a piece of jewelry for me. This Jord Wood watch from their Cora series is very unique. I own a different model of wood watch from the ELY series (read my review here). This was the only watch I wore all summer and I got many compliments on it. The above model is probably one the most beautiful and unique combination of color for a watch.
Scarf. A classic. A staple. There is never anything called as 'too many scarves'. I was looking for a blue/red combination, so I chose this model, but literally here you can find tons of options! Anything that you love would fit the bill.
Sunglasses. These are good gifts, but sometimes tricky to buy. I would always gift this one with a gift receipt. Personally, I want this Dior 'So Real' 48mm Sunglasses. It is crazy expensive. But hey! we are making a list here... Right?
Lastly, Bracelets, Bangles, Earrings and Neck pieces both delicate as well as chunky make great gifts. I personally love these bangles from Alex and Ani. They make great layering pieces.
These were my picks for Holiday Gifting. Some of these I already have got in the past and some of these I would really love to own.
Hope this was of some use. Read Part 1 here.
Have fun Shopping!
