Let us briefly talk about 'Time-release' skincare. What is it and how does it work?
Time-release is just a unique system, a way to release active ingredients from the carrier system into the skin slowly, offering their benefits over a long period of time. Multiple factors like Time, heat etc help facilitate this process. Just like in Medicine. Time-release drugs use a special technology to release small amounts of the medication into a person's system gradually, so as the effect of it stays in the body system for a prolonged period of time.

Color, Texture, Consistency, Scent
Off-White gel cream with a glossy finish, that is neither to thick nor too airy and whipped. This smooth textured cream has medium density and is not too heavy. Even though it is a Rose Cream, the scent is not your usual, strong perfumed rose that is usually associated with anything rose. I smell a faint hint of rose with more of fresh cucumber. The scent is pretty mild, easy on the nose and does not lingers on.
Application and Effect on Skin
A little less than Dime size is all I need to cover my entire face. I use it both during the day and night. The cream is absorbed pretty quickly by the skin. It does leave a little shine on the skin, that is not greasy but more like a thin layer of residue. Don't let the word residue scare you. It is almost not noticeable. Although the cream is light weight, it is very moisturizing and hydrating. It layers very easily with other products like Essence, toners, Serums and whole team but still does not pills or balls up. The moisture and hydration lasts for really long time. Even without layering with other products, when used on its own, I find the cream is potent enough to do the job. It leaves the skin soft, supple and nourished. No stretched or dry feeling. One major difference that I noticed with this and other creams in the same vein is the way this makes my skin appear plump and bouncy, an effect that I usually get only when I layer essence.

This comes in a heavy, frosted glass jar with lid. Nothing fancy yet very clean and fine looking.
Final Thoughts
This is a full proof, no fuss Hydrating and Moisturizing face cream. It didn't break me out and made my skin look healthy and nourished. A little goes a long way and I have used it to prep my face before makeup. There was no issue with makeup slipping or sliding. A long lasting, hydrating cream with amazing ingredients.
Few products that I have tried from the same range and enjoy are the Rose Deep Hydration Toner, Fresh Rose Face Mask These are nice. The one that I am curious to try is the Rose Deep Hydration Serum. Considering that I like the Hydration moisturizer , I am pretty positive about this one.
