A creamy, oil-free facial mask that helps skin drink deep overnight for a soft, dewy glow by morning. This rich cream is recommended for all skin types, it soothes and nourishes to help skin stay hydrated all night.
Color: Pale Salmon Pink
Texture and Consistency: Thick, not too dense, non-sticky creamy and light weight
Scent: None
Application: I apply it at night on clean, toned face. I use Pixi Glow Tonic as my toner. This is a pretty moisturizing mask all by itself, so I don't use it on top of any other night cream. I do apply serum occasionally. Just a little more than dime size is enough to cover the whole face with a thin layer of the mask, but I use a little extra and smooth it out using my fingers.
Feel and Effect on the skin: Most of the mask is absorbed by the skin, though little bit of it just sits on top. I use it in liberal amount to begin with, so the extra stays on top of the skin. It stays tacky for first few minutes, then later settles, but never dries. The mask is not uncomfortable. It moisturizes well leaving behind super soft, smooth, supple and plump skin. It helped me get rid of dry areas and patches that I usually get in winters. There is no stretchy skin the next morning. It does not leaves behind any greasy residue.
Verdict: I love this overnight mask. It is basically a heavy duty, light weight moisturizer. I remember having high hopes from the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst relief, but was left underwhelmed. This did not clog my pores nor broke me out. It moisturizes, hydrates and plumps the skin. If you are someone with dry and super dry skin, this would work for you. This totally got rid of my dry patches on the face. If you have oily or combination skin, this can be used sparingly, just like hydrating cream. I love using it on long flights, where the air inside gets dry and ruins the skin. This helps prevent that by providing the skin with extra boost of moisture.
