La Roche-Posay Pysiological Micellar Water (Sensitive Skin)

La Roche-Posay Micellar Water gently cleanses and tones skin. Micelles micro-encapsulate dirt on skin's surface and lift it off without rubbing, maintaining skin's physiological balance. Poloxamer, a mild cleanser gently cleanses sensitive skin. Antioxidant Thermal Spring Water soothes skin. Glycerin, hydrates the skin.

It contains no soap, alcohol, colorants or parabens. It is Oil-free

Micellar Water is probably one of the best Skincare products that I discovered very late in my adult life. I wish I knew something like this ever existed. It is a total game changer in the world of makeup removal.

Micellar Water is a cleanser, that needs no water. It is made of tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules suspended in water. These are called micelles. They remove makeup gently by breaking it down and not spreading and smearing it all over the face. It also removes dirt and oil along with makeup.
Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water (review) is my absolute favorite. I have used use two huge bottles of that product.

I love La Roche Posay as a brand. It is one of those French Pharmacy brand that is very popular in the beauty industry. The packaging is simple, clean and minimal. The micellar water has a light scent and it cleans most of my makeup easily and effectively. I soak cotton pads with this solution and wipe of the make up. For eye makeup, I rest the soaked cotton for a minute, let it sit and it lifts off every single bit of makeup. Never had any trouble with this not getting rid of my mascara or kohl. It is very gentle and does not hurt or burn the eyes. Very soothing on the skin. It does not leave any residue or film. The face feels clean and fresh.
I like it just as much as my Bioderma. The Bioderma has no scent, while this one has.

The only reason I pick La Roche Posay over Bioderma is the easy availability. I can find it at Ulta or Target, while Bioderma has to be ordered online.

A big thumbs up!
