Primary Raw DoYou Soy Milk Cream

Primary Raw DoYou Soy Milk Cream

A milky face cream, fortified with soy milk and ginkgo leaf extract, to keep normal to dry skin types deeply hydrated without feeling heavy. Infused with pure ingredients, including fermented soy milk extract, ginkgo leaf extract, and chamomile extract, it helps brighten and created a plumped appearance.

Formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates and is free of synthetic dyes and mineral oil.

The K-Beauty or Korean Beauty products have been all the rage since past year or so. Their skincare products are generally very light weight and airy in texture. They have the cutest packaging. I have tried few brands and this is something I have found common in most of them.

Color: Creamy White

Texture and Consistency: If Gel and Cream had a baby, that would be this. Gel cream, slightly sticky and stringy (it is hard to explain) Light weight, non greasy

Scent: It smells very clean and fresh. The fragrance is mild and pleasant

Application: I apply is after cleansing and toning the face and neck. There is an applicator or spatula that comes with it and one generous scoop of product is enough to cover the face. I prefer adding few drops of Clarins Booster Energy drops in it for added benefits.

Feel and Effect on Skin: The gel cream almost disappears into the skin within 30 seconds. It is slightly wet and tacky for few seconds and then dries completely, leaving behind a silky, smooth velvety finish. Just like a veil. The face feels hydrated and super soft. It is not greasy at all.

Packaging: The product comes in a glass jar and a spatula to scoop out the product. It gets difficult to scoop the product without spatula once the bottle is half empty. The spatula does not fits in the jar, so I find it very difficult to store that spatula after every use. I found a nice empty glass bottle, that holds this piece of tool for now.

The glass jar to store my spatula

Verdict: The product is good, but it did not meet my expectations. I have dry skin. I was looking for something more hydrating and nourishing. This one moisturizes well, but not for long. The effects are not long lasting. The moment it is on skin, it is great and the greatness lasts for couple of hours, but later on the skin starts feeling dry and stretched. This however is not the case when I mix few drops of Clarins Booster Energy drops. The hydration lasts for really long time with the addition. The product is not greasy at all, so it makes for a great daytime cream to wear underneath makeup. Also, one thing that I noticed with these K-Beauty, water based gel moisturizers are that they are not absorbed deep into the skin layers. They just evaporate on application and the skin feels extremely smooth and velvety.
This would work perfectly for  people with normal to oily skin or for someone staying in a warm, humid climate.
