ALTERNA Haircare makes some of my most favorite hair products. Their CAVIAR range has helped my ultra fine hair to great extent. I love their shampoo, conditioner and dry oil. ALTERNA Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Oil is not from Caviar range, but it is lightest, dry oil I have ever used. This Caviar CC Cream for Hair 10-in-1 Complete Correction is no different.

Color: White

Texture and Consistency: Light weight, non sticky, thick but not too dense cream

Scent: It smells very fresh and fantastic. The scent does lingers on for quite sometime. It is very pleasant.

Application: This is a leave-in product. It can be use din multiple ways and I love to use it on damp hair after my shower and before blow drying. I take around dime size product on my palms and rub it all over my hair around 2 inches away from the roots and scalp. I don't apply it on the scalp or roots. Depending on the size and thickness of the hair, the quantity will vary. In any case, not too much product is needed.

I also use it on dry hair, when they get too frizzy.

Feel and Effect on the Hair: The product is very light weight and spreads easily. It is absorbed quickly and does not leaves oily or greasy patches on the areas where it applied. This product does not weighs my very thin hair down and coats it well providing it enough moisture and nourishment. The frizz is less and the hair appears smooth and shiny. It also helps to de-tangle the hair knots. After blow drying, the hair looks more voluminous and every single strand appears to be thick, even though it is not.

Packaging: This comes in a soft squeeze tube with a pump. The pump dispenses adequate amount and the cap snaps shut, so it is easy to travel with. The smallest size tube has no pump. It just has a screw top cap.

Verdict: This is a wonderful product and it is one of those very few leave-in hair products that don't weigh my hair down and make it greasy by end of the day. There is hardly any build up or residue. Also this works great both in extreme hot and humid weather as well as super cold and dry weather. It makes the hair more shiny, soft, voluminous and manageable. It tames the frizz to great extent and also acts as a heat protectant during blow drying and styling using hot tools. The scent is great which is a huge huge plus, because so many hair care products smell weird, funky and like alcohol. I highly recommend giving this one a try. This comes in a small travel size tube and it a great way to give the product a try.
