'RETAIL THERAPY' is just another term coined for the infamous 'HAUL'. It is the list of things I buy, try and the ones you will hear me 'yak', 'blab', 'review' about in next few posts!!! Call this a 'Preview'..
As I type this post saying this is my last haul for the year, but just two days back I picked few more things on my trip to Florida and believe me I had a good excuse this time. I shared a few pictures on Instagram.
This is part 2 of the final haul for the year.
May Coop is a brand that I had never heard of. There is only one product under this brand at Sephora. It is the Raw Sauce. A very unique name for a product. This alone generated curiosity enough to try at least a small bottle. The packaging is nice and heavy.
After my disastrous experience with the NARS Light reflecting Pressed setting powder, I am on this hunt to find 'the one' that works for me. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders are my absolute favorite and I use them as 'finishing powders' or 'concealer setting powder'. I need something that would help me set make up and also blot the oil around my nose if needed during the summers. I chose the Too faced Primed and Powerless pressed powder. The product itself looks very translucent, so I think it should work without leaving an ashy cast. I have also picked the Charlotte Tilbury 'Air Brush Flawless Finish' Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder. I shared it in my last post. So if any of these work well, I am good for many many years.
Laura Mercier's secret Brightening powder for the under eyes is my holy grail and I have high hopes with this Translucent Loose Setting Powder to set make up as well. This is a loose powder.
I don't need palettes. I use the same boring neutrals whenever I do my eye makeup. One of my favorite look is a light colored eye shadow that has some sheen all over the lid, with eyeliner. Done. The only colors I ever use is deep, dark blue, green or purple as eyeliner. I am not very artistic when it comes to eye shadow.
Lorac 'PRO' Matte Palette is easy, portable and has my kind of colors (neutrals). I also picked Stila Soul Palette. It has some beautiful shimmery shades, a huge mirror and was only $29 during those fun day sales at Ulta. I honestly didn't 'need' any of these. I just wanted to own them.
I wanted to give the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer/ Neutralizer and the Maybelline Dream Lumi touch Highlighting concealer a try. I love my NARS Radiant creamy concealer, but wanted to try some others. I have recently picked the Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless concealer and I must say it is beautiful!

These are some of the products that I picked and I am excited to try them and share my experience. None of these are new (I hardly have latest releases on this blog), but they are new for me and I hope to enjoy using and reviewing these soon.
