What it is:A collection of jumbo eye pencils that can be used as eyeliners or blended out as eye shadows.
What it does:
These jumbo pencils create a range of effects, from bold lines and blended effects to thin, defined lines. Resistant to water, heat, and humidity, their creamy, high-pigment formulas apply smoothly. From deep blacks to rich and shimmery shades, each is formulated with exclusive waxes and pigments to assure maximum color intensity that stays put for 12-hours.
Matte Eyeliners are my weak point. I love pencil liners and if they are matte, I just cannot resist. This is my first time trying a liner pencil from Sephora.
Color: Matte Dark Brown
On Application: This applies very smoothly. No tugging or drying. The color pay off is great. Just one to two swipes and it imparts the rich color as it is in swatch.
My thoughts: Firstly the pencil is chubby, more like eye shadow pencils from various brands. Reminds me of NYX Jumbo Pencils, Urban Decay Eye shadow pencils and many more from various brands. The chubbiness makes it difficult to apply the liner in a fine line. It makes precise application a difficult task.
The liner is smooth and one to two swipes gives a great color pay off. The liner needs around 30-40 seconds to set and then it does not budge!! A make up remover is needed to remove this.
Swatch of Sephora Jumbo Liner (12HR Wear Waterproof) 24 Dark Brown Matte
This would make a great base for eyeshadow too and when smudged can be used on its own as a cream shadow. Just like it claims, it lasts for more than 8 hours.
Comparison Swatch: Urban Decay Demolition and Sephora 24 Dark Brown Matte Liner
One issue I had with this product is that it made my eyes water and I had burning sensation. I don't blame the product though. Most of the liners irritate my sensitive eye. Apart from Matte pencils from Urban Decay, most of them have never worked for me.
I won't be buying any more color, but if it works for you there is a plethora of color to choose from. Good Product at an affordable price.
Have you tried this product? Any thoughts on them?
