| Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask |
An intensely moisturizing overnight treatment that works in sync with the skin’s natural night time recovery process, giving it the appearance of a visibly more defined, contoured complexion.
A proprietary complex of black tea ferment, black tea extract, blackberry leaf extract, and lychee seed extract addresses damaging free radicals and helps to improve the appearance of skin elasticity, while belle de nuit extract helps to soothe the skin. The formula contains peptides to support the appearance of firmer skin and hyaluronic acid to attract and maintain moisture.
It is formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates
Color: Pale Beige
Texture and Consistency: Thick, not too dense, non sticky cream
Scent: It has a very signature 'Fresh' scent. Even the Black Tea Age-delay eye cream smells the same. It smells lovely.
Application: I use this on cleansed and toned face, that has either a layer of Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Vitamin C Brightening Serum or SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment. Basically anything that has light chemical exfoliant. Recently I have been using Drunk Elephant C-Firma™ Day Serum and then layering this overnight mask. I just massage the product gently with finger tips and let it rest. The creamy product spreads easily and is not sticky. The face feels little tacky for first 15 seconds or so and then sets in. I use this about 4 times a week in winter. There are other overnight masks that I rotate in my regime.
Feel and Effect on the Skin: This is a rich cream. It sinks in though is not completely absorbed. I can see some greasiness. As it is a night time treatment, it does not bothers me. The product is hydrating and moisturizing. It just leaves the skin feeling super soft and nourished the next morning. I don't have any noticeable wrinkles as of now, so it is difficult to tell if this lifts and firms. The skin feels plump and supple, like some kind of relaxing spa treatment has been done. This did not break me out nor clogged my pores. I did not get those white bumpy things around my nose area.
Packaging: Dark Amber colored, heavy glass jar. I use a disposable spatula to scoop the product out.
Verdict: I love this Overnight Mask. It is fantastic! I have dry skin, so it works, but it can get heavy if I use it every night. Also, I use exfoliating serums underneath and this helps heal the rawness that is caused by mild peeling. I had really hard time working with the Sunday Riley Good Genes, as it was too harsh for me and it used to leave raw, dry patches that used to stay for 2-3 days. Now, I that I have figured out how to layer these products, the end results are amazing. The face appears bright, smooth, hydrated and radiant. It actually feels plump and supple. It would work for all skin types, though normal to dry skin would enjoy it more.
