I had heard so many good things about this brand, so while I was buying stocking stuffer from Sephora, I picked one for myself. I am glad I picked the small travel size for $5, because even though the product is amazing, I just cannot stand the smell of it. It is so over powering and I just hate it.
As per the yummy description on Sephora
What it is:
An award-winning body moisturizing butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera.
What it does:
This body butter was formulated for very dry skin with a new dynamic moisture trap matrix to help hold hydration in longer.
Its alluring scent of Soap & Glory's signature Pink Fragrance combines fresh bergamot and mandarin, rose, jasmine, peach, strawberry, oakmoss, amber, woody notes and amber and warm vanilla notes on the bottom.
Texture & Consistency: Light weight, Cream
Application: I applied it on my skin after shower, when the body still has some moisture. This helps the cream to spread easily and sink in quickly. The cream itself is light weight and not at all heavy and thick.
Feel on Skin: Absolutely divine! The skin does not feel oily or greasy and it absorbs the cream beautifully leaving behind a smooth, soft, supple and moisturized skin. It also works wonderfully on dry and tough areas like elbows and knees.
Scent/Fragrance: This was the deal breaker for me. I just couldn't stand the smell. I don't know what is wrong with it or with my olfactory nerves, but it just makes me gag and throw up!
Packaging: Lovely pink tub with a retro feel to it. Something that you would find in grandma's vanity. I would have preferred a soft squeeze tube with a flip top cap over a tub though.
I just wished the product had worked for me. No fault with the product itself and it excels as a Body Butter, to moisturize and nourish.
Have you tried this product or anything else from this brand? Any suggestions for new product? I am curious to try their Facial Scrub. Any thoughts on that product?
