This is my second product review from the Brand Kate Somerville. The first product that I tried was a complete disaster.

I don't hate this product neither do I love it. I am totally indifferent about this one. It did nothing. Absolutely nothing. It didn't harm my skin neither did I see any improvement as claimed.

I have tried many similar kind of products that tackle the issue of hyper pigmentation. I know when a product is working for me and when its just doing nothing. This for me was like any other day moisturizer.

My Skin: Dry, which is prone to hyper pigmentation. I have some old shadow like marks around my chin area and along the line where one applies bronzer. I have no acne scar or any other skin condition. I do not have melasma.

Duration : 8 weeks plus

Usage: AM usage only, Dime Size is enough to cover the whole face.

Color: White

Texture: Thick like cream. They call it a serum.

Fragrance: Not noticeable

Feel on Skin: It spreads easily. Moisturizes well. It does not leaves the skin greasy and its pretty gentle. The pores are not clogged and the skin feels soft and well moisturized.

Effect on skin: None as claimed. I didn't see any results at all. No improvement in pigmentation, nor any reduction is fine lines. It just moisturized like any other drug store product.

Package: Good Packaging. It has a pump, which works well. The pump dispenses well and never clogged till the end. Hygenic packaging.

Verdict: All I can say, I was disappointed. I mean after paying 80 buck plus some tax, all I get is a product that does nothing!! My Argan Oil is way better! Please try to get a sample size tube before actually buying a full size.

DisclaimerThis is review on my personal experience with the product. It may or may not work for you. I paid for this myself.

Beauty Buys: LUSH, KIEHL'S, EXUVIANCE

'BEAUTY BUYS' is just another term coined for the infamous 'HAUL'. Its the list of
things I buy, try and the ones you will hear me 'yak', 'blab', 'review' about in
next few posts!!! Call this a 'Preview'..

Earlier, I never had a LUSH store close by. But since I moved here last year, there has been a couple of them near my home. I had heard and read numerous reviews last year on various blogs and other mediums. I was very curious to try the brand. I have already tried their Masks, but the other stuff is pretty new for me.

Goodies I Picked from Lush:

Face Masks by the name Oatfix and The Sacred Truth (love this one).

Face and Body Scrub: Ocean Salt

Lip Scrub: Bubble Gum

After my not so very good experience with Kate Somerville Skin care products, I chose to pick some stuff from Kiehl's. Have tried this brand before, mostly their generous Samples.

Goodies I picked from Kiehl's

Hair Pack: Superbly Smoothing Argan Hair Pak.

Photo - Age Corrector - High Potency Spot treatment for skin.

Got generous size, samples in Multiples :

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream, Kiehl's Cryste Marine Ultra Riche cream, Eye Makeup Remover etc.

Also, a month back Exuviance sent me this Optolight Tone corrector for consideration. I was already using Kate Somerville products and then later started using Shiseido Serum, I could not get a chance to try this on. Now, that the summers are almost over, it will be a great time to test these tone correcting and Spot Treatments.

We will see how all this goes and as always I will share my honest opinions about these products in reviews to come by. Meanwhile, Shiseido Serums and few other Kate Somerville product reviews are scheduled for next coming weeks.

Thank you for reading and Stay Good.

Dreaming right now...

Have been seriously lemming these things from past few days.

These link bracelets have been around since many months and I have been wanting it since long time. Right now, I am on Ban! So busy building a decent Bag collection, that everything else has to wait.
This is the version by J.Crew that is currently available. I personally feel it is too blingy. Alternate link with crystals like above one is what i actually want, but its sold Out.

These Stone studded clutch looks very pretty. I have seen them only on fashion Blogger Wendy's blog. It is by Wanderlust+Co.  Have not seen it anywhere else, but I like the look of it. My friend says it is way too expensive for what it is. I personally like it, but have to make up my mind before buying it. Fashion bloggers get it for free, so its OK for them, but buying something online, without seeing the quality, I am little hesitant. I wish I could read reviews of the clutch somewhere. Returning stuff is one thing I hate!!! Right now, I can't stop thinking about these cool goodies...

Franchesca's Collection

Franchesca's Collection is a cool Boutique. I like the way their store has a random mix of everything from clothes, Jewelry, Bags, Shoes, Scarves and many more random gift articles. Some Cool Stationary as well. The collection is small but unique in its own way. You won't find 10 people wearing the same stuff.

If you like something, the best option is to pick it right away, simply because if it is gone, it is gone.

One thing that I didn't enjoy were the bags they had on their display. No doubt they were beautiful, but most of them were inspired by popular Brands like Mulberry, Marc Jacobs etc to name a few.

This particular clutch with Postman lock is very reminiscent of Mulberry bags. I picked this one for the quality and simplicity. It has a detachable shoulder strap as well. The bag does not holds much, but looks pretty. Either ways Envelope clutch bags hardly hold anything.

Over all a good buy, though Iwould not buy anymore inspired bags, simply because there is a thin line between 'inspired' and 'fake'. I would still prefer Brighton over Franchesca for Bags and Purses. They sure do have some unique picks.
